Qualifications

EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE
High School diploma
and 10+ years related experience and /or training;
or equivalent combination of education and
experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Degree preferred.
Ability to: interpret documents, use
computer,
write routine reports, work with mathematical
concepts, weld metals, tools and fixtures including
the ability to use a lathe and end mill, program
PLCs, troubleshoot electrical control and wiring
problems, route and install 110, 208 and 480v 1ph
and 3 ph circuits and trouble shoot and problem
solve.

Duties &
Responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose machine
malfunction and determine need for adjustments
and repair.

Dismantles
devices to gain access to and remove defective
parts
-
Adjusts
functional parts of devices and control
instruments
-
Replaces
defective part or repairs or reproduces parts
from various kind of metal stock
-
Installs special
functional and structural parts in devices
-
Assembles and
test operates machine to verify correction of
malfunction
-
Assist with
analyzing of electrical problems and assist with
repair or
-
replacement

Maintains and
lubricates machine tools and equipment.

Physical plant
upkeep as assigned and monthly inspections of
fire extinguishers, fire alarm, exit lights and
sprinkler system.
-
Uses forklift.
-
Informs
supervisor of problems with machines.

While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand,
walk and talk and listen.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; use
hands and finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and
arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to
40 pounds. All lifting over 40 lb. requires the use of
assistance either mechanical or from another person.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to
adjust focus. Moderate to high noise level environment.
