Jim Gardiepy, plant manager with Lexington Manufacturing, announced the expansion of their second shift team. With facilities in Brainerd and Coon Rapids, Lexington manufactures engineered components for windows, doors, and other millwork and related industries, as well as fire-rated door components for the commercial and residential door industry.
Lance Wasniewski, technical/product development manager with Lexington Manufacturing, attended the Hunter Douglas “Engaging in Quality Best Practices” conference held in Broomfield, CO. Lexington manufactures engineered components for windows, doors, and other millwork and related industries, and was one of a few select suppliers invited to the conference.
T.J. Dimke, manufacturing engineer with Lexington Manufacturing, was selected to speak at the Window and Door Manufacturers Association’s (WDMA) Technical and Manufacturing Conference in Chicago. The WDMA sets and advances the industry standards for manufacturing residential and commercial windows, doors, and skylights.

Lexington sponsored the one-day NADC conference, which preceded the Door and Hardware Institute’s convention. Operating under the Window & Door Manufacturers Association’s (WDMA) umbrella, NADC develops and maintains industry standards for architectural wood doors and represents the industry in many arenas.
