Lexington Manufacturing’s highly automated door core optimization process was developed to minimize waste while creating engineered door components that consistently meet customer expectations for size, appearance and functionality.
Similar to solid, non-optimized, door core, our optimized cores feature the same strength and fire resistant qualities as non-optimized cores, making them an excellent option when considering door core manufacturers.

Optimization Process
In our industry production waste means wasted money. That’s why we developed a manufacturing method that utilizes nearly one hundre percent of the door core material we’re processing, making it nearly one hundred percent waste free. Using ultra strong wood products and carefully calculated measurements, we melt materials together to create one continuous piece of wood. It’s then cut to the exact size it needs to be and every core is sanded and inspected to insure it exceeds customer expectations. It’s consistent, efficient and environmentally responsible.
